TRIBUTE TO FABRIZIO PLESSI WITH “ORO”
On August 28, Rifugio Digitale returns to its origins.
Following the passing of Fabrizio Plessi, we are bringing back “ORO,” the major site-specific digital artwork that inaugurated this space in 2022.
A gigantic golden mosaic flows across the translucent walls of Rifugio, transforming into a continuous stream: gold that melts, moves, and breathes. An artwork in dialogue with the circular, sensory architecture of the space, where technology, matter, and imagination come together.
Bringing back “ORO” means returning to that first encounter and paying tribute to the artistic research of an artist who knew how to transform technology into poetic matter.
