Giuliana Cunéaz

She is a pioneer of Italian new media art, born in Aosta in 1959. Trained at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti di Torino, she works across video installation, sculpture, photography, and digital painting.

Since 2000, she has worked with computer graphics, and since 2004 she has experimented with 3D in a practice that combines art, science, and technology. In recent years, she has developed immersive works and projects created with artificial intelligence.

She has exhibited at major museums and international festivals, including the São Paulo Biennial, the Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Gallerie d’Italia, and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
