Future Studies: visions from a possible tomorrow
20.10.2022 – 27.11.2022
The exhibition, the first solo show in the SuperNatural cycle curated by Irene Alison and Paolo Cagnacci, presented a selection of images documenting places and projects where science, technology, and the environment converge to imagine more sustainable future scenarios. Through a clear and immersive gaze, the show explored spaces where alternative solutions for tomorrow are being tested: vertical farming, insect farming, green cities in the desert, offshore wind farms, and environmental innovations. Each image offered a visual reflection on how humanity is striving to redefine its relationship with the planet.
… Future Studies took visitors on a journey through landscapes of transition and sites of research, highlighting not only the challenges, but also the possibilities of a shared evolution. A visual narrative that raised urgent questions about the present while opening up perspectives on both concrete and speculative visions of the future—an invitation to think and see beyond today.
