From July 17 to September 7, 2025, Rifugio Digitale presents Flowers Drink The River, a photographic project by Pia-Paulina Guilmoth and the fifth chapter of Il Corpo che Abito, a series dedicated to contemporary photography curated by Irene Alison and Paolo Cagnacci.
Organized in collaboration with Cortona On The Move and Forma Edizioni, the exhibition will open on Thursday, July 17 at 7:00 PM in Florence, and will also be presented simultaneously in Cortona, where it will remain on view until November 2, 2025. A dual installation—featuring both images and video – creates a complementary dialogue between the two venues.
The following day, Friday, July 18, as part of the Cortona On The Move program, Irene Alison will present the new photographic podcast (Pre)Visioni by Rifugio Digitale at the Logge del Teatro Signorelli (3:30–4:00 PM). Curated by Irene Alison with direction by Paolo Cagnacci, the first episode – dedicated to Guilmoth’s dark and poetic universe – will feature guest speaker Paolo Woods, Artistic Director of Cortona On The Move. Alison will also introduce the two volumes SuperNatural and Homecoming, published by Forma Edizioni, which bring together the two exhibition cycles on contemporary photography promoted by Rifugio Digitale and co-curated by Alison and Cagnacci.
