    Petrina Hicks

    Is an Australian artist who has gained a reputation for her large scale photographs that explore representations of women and feminine iconography throughout art history and mythology. Her photographs are rich with mythological and historical symbolism and imbued with a sense of the surreal and uncanny. Symbolic animals and females often appear together in her work to represent psyche and identity. Her work is held in many public collections including National Gallery of Victoria, National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, Art Gallery of Western Australia. In 2019 the National Gallery of Victoria held a major survey show of Hicks work, titled ‘Bleached Gothic’. This exhibition included fifty photographs and video works spanning the period 2003 to 2019. From June-September 2021 Hicks survey show ‘Gothique Blanc’ was held at the Australian Embassy, Paris, France displaying photographs spanning the period 2003 to 2019.

  • MARIA LAX
    Maria Lax

    Is a Finnish artist based in London. Her work deals with the concepts of identity, faith and folklore as interpreted through photography and video art. Her work has participated in international exhibitions and in 2019 Lax was awarded the Female in Focus prize by the British Journal of Photography, and was a finalist for the BJP Portrait of Humanity Award for 2020 and the Photography Grant of the PHMuseum. She was selected among the Best New Talent of Photo London 2020 by the Guardian. In 2021, Maria Lax was awarded the Finnish Art Promotion Centre’s One Year Grant.

  • HAYLEY EICHENBAUM
    Hayley Eichenbaum

    Is an interdisciplinary artist and director who works between San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA. Her early performative and kinetic work analyzes society’s expectations of women throughout the Western world, in particular how women are supposed to care about and preserve their looks. Her current digital photography work expands on the concept of appearance. Here the focus shifts to buildings and the built landscape, with particular attention to what remains of the American Southwest, where a fi ne façade becomes crucial to society’s very survival.

  • PIERO PERCOCO
    Piero Percoco

    He was born in Bari and lives in a small town called Sannicandro di Bari, just a few kilometers away. He has been taking photographs for over ten years and is self-taught, having never attended photography schools. Cinema has been an integral part of his journey; since childhood, he has watched countless films, many of them science fiction like Alien, Predator, Total Recall, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and many others. He started by posting daily everyday photographs on Instagram from 2012, using an iPhone. Over time, this activity evolved into a full-time career: he has been contacted by various magazines, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, The British Journal, as well as many brands that commissioned work from him. He has published three photography books, and his work is continuously evolving.

  • MATTHIEU GAFSOU
    Matthieu Gafsou

    Born in 1981, is a Swiss-French photographer based in Lausanne. After studying philosophy, literature, and cinema, he trained in photography in Vevey. He has exhibited internationally and published six books. Winner of the HSBC Photography Award in 2009, he has shown work at the Musée de l’Elysée and the Rencontres d’Arles with the project H+. In 2022, he presented Vivants at the Pully Museum and Paris Photo, where he won the Ruinart Prize. He teaches photography at ECAL and is a founding member of the MAPS agency.

  • CHARLOTTE DUMAS
    Charlotte Dumas

    Born in the Netherlands in 1977, Charlotte Dumas is a photographer and video artist whose work investigates how we define the value of animals and ourselves as humans. She explores the contradiction between animals used as food resources and those given anthropomorphic roles. From Retrieved, about 9/11 rescue dogs, to Stay, on endangered Japanese horse breeds, her work delves deeply into human-animal relationships. Since 2012, she has incorporated video into her practice, starting with Anima, filmed at Arlington National Cemetery. Her short films include The Widest Prairies and a Japan-based trilogy: Shio, Yorishiro, and Ao. She has published over ten photo books.

  • LUCA LOCATELLI
    Luca Locatelli

    Is a photographer and filmmaker exploring solutions for the future, with a focus on the relationship between humans, science, technology, and the environment. He collaborates with scientists, journalists, and activists to deepen his research, which has been centered for over a decade on the climate crisis. He is a co-founder of a non-governmental organization that helps protect 600,000 hectares of Amazon rainforest. His work is regularly featured in major publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and TIME. Locatelli has exhibited internationally at venues including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Les Rencontres d’Arles, and the Shanghai Center of Photography. His work has earned several major awards, including the Leica Oskar Barnack Award and multiple World Press Photo prizes.

  • PIA-PAULINA GUILMOTH
    Pia-Paulina Guilmoth

    Lives and makes art in rural central Maine. Pia-Paulina Guilmoth is a working class trans woman who lives with her girlfriend and two cats. In her free time she likes to lay in the dirt, hold her friends, shoot guns, and trespass into abandoned houses and barns. The artist’s work is foremost about harnessing beauty as a form of resistance to a world full of terrors. Pia released her third book in November 2024 with Stanley/Barker titled Flowers Drink the River. Between 2024 and 2025 she has two major solo exhibitions open in London, and New York City with CLAMP Gallery, and Webber Gallery. In 2024 she won a Google/Aperture Creator Labs grant, and a Peter Reed Foundation grant in photography. In 2022 she was a MacDowell Fellow in Visual Arts. From 2018 to 2021 she was the winner of the Fujifilm Young Talent Award, a Mass Cultural Council fellow in photography, and a finalist for the Aperture Portfolio Prize. In 2021 she released her second monograph with Stanley/Barker.

    Paolo Cagnacci

    He studied photography at Fondazione Studio Marangoni, where he currently teaches portrait photography and lighting techniques. He has done photographic projects for Regione Toscana, Festival della Creatività, Festival dei Popoli, Osservatorio dei Balcani, Fondazione Michelucci, Tempo Reale, Unicoop Firenze, Comune di Firenze, Fondazione Telecom, Mibact, CNA. He has worked for companies such as Patrizia Pepe, Diesel, Paula Cademartori, Peuterey, Starbucks, Stefanel, Ottodame, Dmail. He has published his images in magazines such as D la Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, la Repubblica, La Stampa, Sette, SportWeek, L’Espresso, Pagina99, Specchio, Left, Donna Moderna, Famiglia Cristiana, La Lettura, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. His projects have been distributed by Luz Photo Agency and Parallelozero Agency.

  • ZANCAN
    zancan

    He was born in France in 1976 and currently lives and works in the city of Bordeaux. He is a generative artist but also a painter and computer programmer. Combining his artistic training with his programming skill, he was able to develop algorithms capable of recreating, through code, the natural world around us, and was among the precursors of programmable or algorithmic art on blockchain, so-called generative art, revealing the infinite possibilities of a figurative-generative genre, product of the computer graphics of a much earlier era – the Sixties. His representations of natural shapes through studies of algorithms and programming in JavaScript remind us of the essential bond between man and nature, drawing attention to current environmental and social issues.

  • MORGANNA MAGEE
    Morganna Magee

    She lives and works in Melbourne, on the land of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nations. Her practice explores the relationship between humans and the more-than-human world, using photography in unconventional ways. She published the monograph Extraordinary Experiences (2022), named Australian Photobook of the Year, followed by Beware of People Who Dislike Cats (2023) and Phenomena (2023). Her work has been awarded and exhibited internationally and featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, and Art and Australia. She teaches photography at Swinburne University and is currently completing a PhD on the colonial representation of the kangaroo.

  • AURELIO AMENDOLA
    Aurelio Amendola

    Born in Pistoia (January 19, 1938), he is one of the great masters of art photography. Renowned for his portraits of 20th-century artists – including Warhol, De Chirico, Schifano, and Burri – he has skillfully merged a contemporary gaze with classical tradition. His iconic images of sculptures by Michelangelo, Canova, and Bernini are interpreted with tactile and luminous sensitivity. Winner of the Oscar Goldoni Prize, he has exhibited in prestigious venues such as Palazzo Reale, the Hermitage, and MAXXI. His works are held in major public and private collections. Author of numerous monographs, he has also photographed symbolic sites of Italian art and architecture. His work stands out for its balance between formal rigor and emotional intensity. In recent years, he has received lifetime achievement awards and been the subject of retrospectives in Italy and abroad.

  • THEO PUTZU
    Theo Putzu

    Is a director and videomaker. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, course of scenography, filmmaking address. In 2008/2010 he attended a master’s degree in film directing at CECC – Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya – Barcelona. His latest works, PAPER MEMORIES, AS LEAVES …, 7.83Hz, have been selected in festivals around the world winning more than 80 awards. He works as a videomaker in the field of fashion and as a director/editor for commercials and film projects.

    Matteo Cesari

    After graduating in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, he graduated from the three-year photography course at the Marangoni Foundation in Florence. Over the years, he has pursued documentary photography projects on social issues. His works have been published in various magazines such as D la Repubblica, Internazionale, Sette, and exhibited at Photography festivals including Photolux, Magazzini Fotografici, Slideluck. Currently, in addition to pursuing personal research projects, he is involved in commercial and fashion photography.

  • PAOLO RAELI
    Paolo Raeli

    Born in August 1994, he began photographing at the age of 17, driven by the fear of forgetting his own life. He started by capturing moments of teenage life—first cigarettes, first loves—of the boys and girls in his hometown. His nostalgic images, widely shared on social media, resonate with adolescents all over the world. This early success allowed him to travel and broaden his photographic horizons. In every place he visits, he captures youth—young people from different countries, yet connected by the same universal emotions and experiences. His photos are known for their rosy tones and dreamy atmospheres, telling stories of love, diversity, youth, and nostalgia. Alongside photography, he also produces videos, filming scenes of everyday life between shots. He currently lives in his hometown, Palermo, where he bought an apartment and covered its walls with murals and naïve-style paintings of his own creation—depicting the same friends featured in his countless photographs. Paolo Raeli’s work has been exhibited in cities such as Palermo, Rome, Los Angeles, and Seoul.

  • ROBIN HINSCH
    Robin Hinsch

    He is an artist, photographer, and professor based between Hamburg and Berlin. His practice focuses on socio-economic and political themes, combining photography, video collage, and installations through a research-driven and subjectively narrative approach. He has worked in numerous countries, including Iraq, Ukraine, Syria, Nigeria, China, and India. Holding a Master’s degree in Photography, he has received international awards such as the World Photography Award and the International Photography Award, and has been nominated for the Prix Pictet and the Leica Oskar Barnack Prize. A member of the German Photographic Academy since 2016, he founded the “Format” photography lab in Hamburg. Since 2024, he has been a professor of artistic photography at the University of Arts in Darmstadt.

    Is a Spanish artist and photographer currently based in Germany, whose evocative work delves into the intricacies of motherhood, identity, and belonging. Her photographic journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period marked by profound personal transformation and displacement. As a new mother and migrant, Isa turned to photography as a therapeutic outlet, capturing the intimate, fleeting moments of everyday life. Her series Birthmark explores the deep emotional landscapes of early motherhood, intertwining themes of nostalgia, magic, and the search for home. Isa’s work is characterized by its raw honesty and tender portrayal of the maternal experience, offering a unique perspective that challenges traditional representations. Through her lens, Isa Rus creates a visual narrative that is both deeply personal and universally relatable, inviting viewers to connect with the beauty and complexity of the human condition.

    Bego Anton

    Is a visual storyteller whose work explores human behavior and our complex relationship with the natural world. Her photography examines themes of womanhood, identity, and the boundary between reality and
    fantasy, focusing on women whose practices defy societal norms. Her work has been featured in prominent publications like Le Monde, CNN Photos, Vogue, NYT Lens Blog, and National Geographic, and exhibited nationally in Bilbao, Madrid, and Barcelona, as well as internationally in India, Switzerland, and Germany. Anton has received prestigious grants from organizations like Vegap, the Spain-US Foundation, EEAGrants, and the Provincial Council of Vizcaya.
    In 2014, Anton was selected for the Joop Swart Masterclass by World Press Photo, and in 2017, she was awarded the PhotoEspaña Revelation Prize. In 2023, she received a nomination for the Foam Paul Huf Award.

    Giulia Bersani

    Born and raised in Milan, Giulia Bersani became interested in photography during the final years of high school. This interest emerged from a profound fear of death and the passage of time; the idea of capturing precious moments of life reassured her, allowing her to preserve their value. Over the years, she has worked on various personal projects, developing an intimate and raw style characterized by her choice to shoot exclusively on film. She later sought to bring the same authenticity and sensitivity to her commissioned work.

    Claudine Doury

    She is a French photographer based in Paris and the recipient of major awards such as the Leica Oscar Barnack Award, the World Press Photo, and the Prix Niépce. She has received several commissions from the French Ministry of Culture and has exhibited in museums and galleries internationally. Her works are held in prestigious public and private collections. She has published seven monographs, including Peuples de Sibérie and Amour. Positioned between reality and fiction, her work explores themes such as memory, adolescence, and travel. She is represented by the In Camera gallery and is a member of the Vu agency.

    Sander Coers

    He is a 1997-born artist based in Rotterdam, primarily working with photography. His work explores individual and collective memory through images, family archives, and various media, combining traditional materials with technologies such as AI. He investigates the intergenerational transmission of emotions—particularly among men—and the idealized construction of family memories. A summa cum laude graduate of the Willem de Kooning Academy (2021), he has published three books and exhibited internationally. Named a “Rising Star” by the Dutch newspaper NRC, he is part of the Foam Talent program for 2024–2025. His works are held in major public and private collections

    Quiet Ensemble

    The collective was founded in 2009 from the meeting of Fabio Di Salvo and Bernardo Vercelli, united by an artistic vision that explores the balance between nature and technology, between the rigor of order and the unpredictability of chance. Their work unfolds along the fine line between the organic and the artificial, generating immersive installations and performances in which sound, light, and movement become central elements of a visual and sensory narrative. With a poetic and experimental approach, Quiet Ensemble draws attention to what usually escapes sight and hearing: the rustling of leaves, the flutter of an insect’s wings, the silent rhythm that animates ecosystems. Their works engage in dialogue with the environment, revealing the hidden beauty of everyday microevents and transforming the ordinary into an unexpected and captivating perceptual experience.

  • LARA SHIPLEY
    Lara Shipley

    Is an American photographer. Her work was exhibited in international photography festivals such as the Athens Photo Festival at the Benaki Museum in Athens, Greece; and Cortona on the Move, in Cortona, Italy, as well as appearing in a biennial at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC, USA, and at GuatePhoto International Photography Festival in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Her work is in collection institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art Library in New York, Whitney Museum of American Art Library, Smithsonian American Art Museum Library, the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago and the Nelson Atkins Museum for Art in Kansas City. A photobook of her work with artist Antone Dolezal, Devil’s Promenade, was published by Overlapse Books in 2021. A second photobook, Desire Lines, was published by Overlapse Books in 2023. Lara’s photographs appear in publications such as The New Yorker Magazine, Harper’s Magazine, British Journal of Photography, Atlantic Monthly, Vice, and NPR. She received a MFA in photography from Arizona State University and a Bachelors of Photojournalism from the University of Missouri. She is an Assistant Professor of Photography at Michigan State University.

  • KALPESH LATHIGRA
    Kalpesh Lathigra

    He is a British documentary photographer of Indian origin, born in 1971 in London. His work explores memory, identity, and the sense of belonging through both documentary and staged imagery. In 2000, he won the prestigious World Press Photo award and has received international recognition for projects carried out in India, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2015, he published Lost in the Wilderness, a book focused on the Sioux reservations, described by critic Sean O’Hagan as one of the best photobooks of the year. In 2022, he released Memoire Temporelle, a project set in Bombay that reflects on memory, nostalgia, and the notion of home. His work has been exhibited in leading galleries and institutions internationally.

  • MOHAMED HASSAN
    Mohamed Hassan

    Originally from Alexandria, Mohamed has lived in Pembrokeshire since 2007, graduating with a 1st class honors degree in Photography from Carmarthen School of Art in 2016, and then a Master’s in Documentary Photography with Distinction at the University of South Wales in 2023. In recent years, Hassan’s work has been included in several prestigious group exhibitions, including: Facing Britain: British documentary photography since the 1960s curated by Ralph Goertz (multiple venues across Europe, 2021-2023), Many Voices, One Nation, curated by Ffotogallery and the Senedd (multiple venues across Wales, 2019-2020) His work has also recently been acquired by the National Museum of Wales, National Library of Wales, Government Art Collection, Glynn Vivian Gallery, and Historic England.
